For MNOs, the ability to run field tests with all commercial devices available in the market is key because operators need to test with the very same devices that their subscribers are using.
At these early stages of 5G NR, additional interest rises from the differences in performance between devices, and their interoperability with the 5G NR networks. Rigorous testing is needed to verify that the 5G NR devices are working as expected in a live network.
Keysight’s Nemo Outdoor is currently the only Tier1 vendor supporting 5G NR field testing with all the relevant chipsets. Over 60 different 5G NR KPIs are supported, including details for cell measurements, current cell information, physical channel information, link adaptation, RACH, MAC and RLC/PDCP parameters as well as for upper layers including L3 signaling. The content of each signaling message has been decoded and enables instant troubleshooting. Learn more about Nemo Outdoor
