Keysight introduces its highest power DC power supplies – the RP7980 Series.
With two new models, the RP7982A and RP7983A extends the performance capability of the RP7900 regenerative power system family up to 30kW and adds photovoltaic array simulation mode. The RP7980 Series combines seamless DC source and regenerative DC load functionality into a compact 5U-high package to save energy, rack space, and integration time.
When used with the accessory BV9210B advanced battery test and emulation software, it allows customers to quickly visualize, emulate, profile and cycle batteries up to 600kW to address high power applications in automotive, energy, aerospace defence, and more.
The RP7900 regenerative power system family consists of 20 total models of 5 kW, 10 kW, 20 kW, and now 30 kW DC power supplies delivering up to 2000 V, and up to ±800 A. The RP7900 delivers the fastest, most accurate, integrated regenerative power system.
