With 5G NR, WLAN, UWB and PowerSuite Updates
The 89600 VSA 2023 software release is officially shipped and available for download. It includes features and updates on base VSA, 5G NR, WLAN, UWB, PowerSuite, and new hardware connectivity.
Key new features in the VSA 2023 release include:
1. Basic VSA and Hardware Connectivity (89601200C)
- New HW support: N9021B (<26.5 GHz), E6680E Wireless Test Set
- Noise correction support with X-series signal analyzers and VXT
- Differential channel inputs with UXR/MXR scopes and M3102A Digitizer
- Event-based actions for low-probability issue tracking and troubleshooting
- Floating license manager with new PathWave License Manager (PLM)
2. 5G NR Modulation Analysis (89601BHNC)
- 3GPP Rel-17 new test models support: TM2b and TM3.1b (both using 1024QAM)
- 3GPP Rel-17 NTN support with extended frequency lock range up to 1 MHz
- Downlink: PDSCH reference bits of Test Model PN23, and all zeros
- Uplink: UCI + PUSCH multiplexing without PUSCH data and Precoding matrix
- Cross-correlated EVM support (with 89601EVMC option)
- User-defined constellation support with PUSCH/PDSCH
3. Digital Demodulation Analysis (89601AYAC)
- Adaptive equalization and 16/32APSK modulation support
4. High Throughput WLAN Modulation Analysis (89601BHXC)
- PSDU CRC result in Burst Info trace
- Reference symbols manually specified by customers (in low SNR scenario)
5. PowerSuite Measurements (89601PSMC)
- ACP and SEM with multiple-band spectrum measurements capability
- 5G NR standard-based presets
6.UWB Modulation Analysis (89601BHTC)
- Add Frame Info results, and Baseband Impulse Response trace based on FiRa specification
The VSA 2023 release will require a valid software version date newer than 2022.0601.
